Portraits & illustrations about George Orwell's 'Animal Farm'
This is an ongoing personal project about a series of paintings dedicated exploring the many characters and scenarios of the story of 'Animal Farm'. Currently I'm designing Mr. Jones and I hope to be able to finish all of the essential characters of the book and bring them to life in a new and interesting way.
- Boxer -

Book quote:
“I have no wish to take life, not even human life,' repeated Boxer, and his eyes were full of tears”.

- Napoleon's Guard -

Book quote: "
Napoleon, with the dogs following him, now mounted on to the raised portion of the floor where Major had previously stood to deliver his speech."

- Sheep family -

Book quote:
"Of late the sheep had taken to bleating "Four legs good, two legs bad" both in and out of season, and they often interrupted the Meeting with this"
- Napoleon -

Book quote: "Snowball was a more vivacious pig than Napoleon, quicker in speech and more inventive, but was not considered to have the same depth of character."
- Old Major -

Book quote: "Weak or strong, clever or simple, we are all brothers."

"Old Major cleared his throat and began to sing."

Below a rough ballpoint pen sketch and digital wips. I use Krita & Photoshop and XP-Pen Artist 16 (2nd gen) as drawing tablet.
