'Into the Beyond' - Children's Book Illustration
This is a short story project I illustrated in the course of nine months (2023-24), being art directed by my friend and talented author Jesse Smith. My task contained full cover jacket + 6 interior illustrations. I won't be sharing the written story here, only the artworks.
We wanted to create a magical and classically illustrated tale that takes the reader into an enchanted forest and get really close to its little creatures. Around the old oak tree there is always summer and warm sun.. but harmony is fragile. There is a old snake in the grass that threatens to destroy it all and only a recluse Golden Mongoose has the power to stop that menace...
We have high hopes that 'Into the Beyond' will attract interest with publishers and we are confident that readers of all ages will enjoy it.
