This gallery is full of examples I've been lucky to have been part of as a book designer and I hope many more commissions will come my way in the future. I strongly feel that making a book cover takes years of hard practise and I am still on the journey of discovery what comes to bettering my painting techniques and approaches in order to create a striking cover. I am grateful to all the authors and clients I've been honoured to have worked with.

These covers are painted between 2020-2023. Commisioned by Australian published author Tony Shillitoe. 'The Last Wizard' still looks for a publisher at this point but I'm sure with Mr. Shillitoe's talent that problem will be solved!

Cover arts for 'Andrakis' - trilogy, fantasy saga written by Tony Shillitoe - (illustrated in 2005)
I was so young and still at art school when I made this commission in 2005. It was a great honour and I was still learning to use Photoshop as a painting software. The author Mr. Shillitoe, as an Australian and me as Finnish, he's is still like a dear friend to me that I haven't met in person but very happy to know him. In total I've illustrated 7 books for him and I'm eternally grateful for such trust in my abilities to convey his stories as he likes them.
Below are the original artworks made back in 2005. I was a fine arts student and soon to be graduated as a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006. I specialized in digital painting (using Photoshop CS2) and multimedia from South-Karelia University of Applied Sciences, in Finland.
